Meet Memphis, the first dog enrolled in a new clinical trial aimed at curing hemangiosarcoma ( angiosarcoma, only in dogs). Dr. Jaime Modiano at the University of Minnesota is overseeing this trial, which uses an investigational new drug that has been designed to specifically kill malignant hemangiosarcoma cells. Positive results from this trial could pave the way for trials in humans. More information regarding Dr. Modiano.
